Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Privacy Statement
Revista de Derecho respects the privacy of authors, reviewers, readers, editors, and other users of the journal website. Any personal information collected through the journal’s website or submission and editorial systems is used only for legitimate journal-related purposes, including manuscript submission and processing, peer review, editorial communication, publication, and maintenance of appropriate academic records.
Personal information such as names, institutional affiliations, email addresses, and other contact details provided during submission or registration will be handled responsibly and will not be sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. Such information may be shared with editors, reviewers, and authorized journal personnel when necessary for the editorial and peer-review process.
The journal takes reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or loss. Authors and reviewers are expected to respect the confidentiality of information obtained through the editorial and peer-review process and must not use or disclose unpublished manuscript content for personal or professional purposes.
Where personal information is included in a published article, such information may become part of the permanent scholarly record and may be publicly accessible through the journal website and indexing services. Users should therefore ensure that manuscripts submitted to the journal contain only personal information that is appropriate and necessary for publication.
The journal may collect limited technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and website usage data, where necessary for website security, system administration, and improving journal services. Such information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.
By registering with the journal, submitting a manuscript, reviewing an article, or otherwise using the journal’s services, users acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Statement. The journal may update this statement from time to time to reflect changes in its practices, legal requirements, or editorial systems.
